Where can I retrieve DELETED file that I deleted by mistake. It is not in the Recycle Bin. I have suggested before that it should go to the Recycle Bin but the suggestion was never taken.

Well, better than nothing I have to admit.
But I would do something to provide such mistakes. Like removing the function from any easy to reach menu and keep it only in the Files Manager where it is clearly described. And I hope that a confirmation is inbuild, too.

Unfortunately the only way to revive is to recognize your fault early and you have a tool that can undelete files. Keep in mind to NOT restore on the same device to not overwrite unprocessed deleted files.
Delete to Recycle Bin can't be the ultimate solution, too. Depending on your settings the Recycler only contains a percentage of the hd capacity.

At least going to the Recycle Bin I can immediately recover/cancel the deletion. Now I cannot recover my deleted movie file.
