Hi Alessandro,

I use Extreme Movie Manager for a long time (as I purchased it since years).

After some frustrating attemps of using the FTP-Upload-Function for access of the Database from my tablet and Netbook, I tried just to backup the database at my Cloud and did a connection as a network drive - it works. But one suggestion to make it more comfortable: Movie Manager name the database bei databaseName+date - it changes the name pof the file each time I backup.

Is it possible to just name the backup database as the real name like a backup without renaming (for example like the funtion "save as" and name it like I want) ? So the access is more easier from netbook or any other PC by telling the programm that the database is at cloud, I only start the programm an it loads the database from my cloud as I named it.

Greeting from Germany

Rabio

I can't say anything to that as I didn't have used that so far.
But if you wanna have an answer from Ale, please send him a mail.

As the database stores no pathes - except for the movie files - I would simply "copy" the database with all subdirs to the cloud. I don't know if that works as I already have said that I didn't have needed anything like that.
