Posted - 11 May 2016 : 09:14:10 And have you tried out "Add Original DVD"? There is no relevant info that is imported to xMM with this option, that means this option is useless.
But in principle you are right, that feature improvements for blu-ray would be nice. There many bugs/missing features: - dual layer isn't recognized automatically - correct diskID for DVD/Blu-ray can't be read - it's not possible to select the disk drive when adding a disk in disk tab - reading vob-Files (DVD) and m2ts-Files(Blu-ray): -- media languages were not recognized -- subtitles were not recognized -- blu-ray: problems to read bitrate (no value) -- audio stream: when you have two or more audio streams with identical Audio Format/Bitrate/Codec only one is listed in the table.
For blu-ray my workaround at the moment is to use a software called BDInfo (http://www.videohelp.com/software/BDInfo) to analyze video and audio technical specifications and copy the data manually to xMM. The mediainfo.dll used in xMM doesn't seem to work as accurate for blu-rays. |

Posted - 10 May 2016 : 19:12:22 When I click on "Add Movie" I can choose to add an original DVD not a bluray.
If I select "Add Original DVD" xMM needs an .ifo file
