Posted - 01 Oct 2012 : 17:23:55 I had a technical question. There are more and more people using SSD drives has their C:\ or operating system drive. Is it required the databases be stored on that drive? Much of what I've read indicates that drive should just be your operating system and depending on the size of the drive that could be limited. If you create databases like I have in testing some are 5 or 6 gig in space with all the extras. Is it possible to perhaps ask what drive do you want databases stored to and default to C:\? Like something in options? |

Posted - 02 Oct 2012 : 06:05:38 Hello,
You can create database in any location, there is no problem for XMM... So if you want change the drive just click on create new database and select a different drive.
The other installation files must remain in the same place..
Bye!
