Hello,

please make XMM 5.0 LUA (limited user access) aware by default. That means no write access to the program directory. You can write the data e.g. to a subdirectory of "locale application data". The function Environment.GetFolderPath(Environment.SpecialFolder.LocalApplicationData) shows the correct path depending on the language version of windows.

Regards, Norbert

Hi Nosh,

I will take a look at this, it's a good idea...

Thank you!

Hi Alessio,

no I mean only the data files (database, pictures and scripts) should go to the ApplicationData directory. When a new user opens XMM for the first time (or any other reason the data is missing) these data is copied from the program directory to the ApplicationData directory and then the user works with the data in the ApplicationData directory.

Regards, Norbert

Hi Nosh,

You mean that I must not install XMM in the Program Files folder? I will take a look at these variables you wrote, I haven't use it before.

Thank you,

Alessio
