Bene !!
Hai fatto un lavorone e finalmente XMM è QUASI portatile.
Ti sei però dimenticato che le informazioni di registrazione:
- sono hardware dependent
- sono memorizzate in 2 chiavi del registro.
Inoltre devi memorizzare in config.ini i percorsi nel formato relativo.
Chi usa il programma in modo portatile ha il suo DB sul pennino e quindi il percorso MEMORIZZATO in [SETTING]DatabaseFile e OpenDatabasePath deve essere drive letter independent.
Peraltro detta modifica non inficia l'uso del programma in modalità stand alone.
Ancora un piccolo sforzo e ci siamo ad avere XMM full portable!! |

Any update at all on this? Just got a 8GB drive and have tons of space to run this app but I cannot modify some paths that are defaulted which I think is creating a problem.

I have some experience with portable apps and the main porblem here would be that the target pc would need to have the .Net framework installed as this isn't made portable.
I also don't think the .Net framework can be made portable... |

Anche io penso che sia giunta l'ora di rendere portatile l'applicativo.
Penso abbia bisogno di pochi aggitsamneti perchè io ho provato a:
- Copiare su pen drive la cartella XMM che avevo sull'HD;
e tutto ha funzionato a meraviglia.
Cambiando PC, però:
- la versione è ritornata shareware;
- ha perso tutte le impostazioni che io gli avevo dato.
Penso quindi che Vito debba solo modificare il *modo* in cui salva le informazioni ed il gioco sarà fatto.

Also looking forward to this, hope you get time to look at it soon Alessio.Dont know how registration is stored in XMM but a XMM lite with ability to read but not add stuff would be nice too if that makes it any easier.

Wish one day I could carry XMM with me in my key chain (1 GB thumb drive) :) Maybe XMM 6.0 ?
