Posted - 12 Dec 2006 : 10:35:06 Please make an option available to disable the automatic update utility on startup. I take the view that it will be a better idea to create the option to enable the user allow or disallow the update check rather than having it forced on them as it now. At the moment, if the user attempts to interrupt the update procedure, the program crashes as can be seen in this image:
