Using XMM on a 10ft interface (3 meters away from screen) is a royal pain.
As well as movie database, surely this is what users want to be able to do with this type of software.
When (if ever) can we expect this? You have been promising it a long, long time.
I have a lot of time and effort invested in XMM (>1300 films and some series) when I want to watch a film on my computer in my home office - no problem. When I want to watch a film on my media centre PC in the lounge on the TV - XMM is painful to use to say the leasr.
Please create this interface as a matter of priority. But please remember to include a couple of filter boxes (one for movie title, the other for actor).
XMM would then be the tool of choice for most AV enthusiasts.
Sorry if I appear negative, it is very frustrating trying to use XMM from 3 meters away.

Just to write that I am working on this these days 
I will probably release an "alpha" soon, just to know the user's opinion about it.
