I use all the available grid colors (green, yellow, gray), and I think having access to more would be great. They don't even have to be predefined as the current ones are (Seen/Unseen, Mark/Unmark, Wanted/Unwanted). The colors could ideally be assigned if you right-click on a movie in the grid.

To be clear, I realize that you can change the existing colors. My suggestion is to add more colors, the use of which could be customizable.

Thanks for all your work, Alessio!

Well, I think too many colors are not really usefull.
white unseen, blue seen, red unseen and lent, yellow seen and lent, ... I hate such plethoric faced tables.
But what would be good is having something like a bunch of checkboxes that will colorize the lines in table grid.
So no filtering but marking...

Ciao, Alessio!

Yes, my suggestion is that more colors be made available in the grid. One way to implement it might be via the right-click menu. If you right-click a movie now, you get the usual options (Seen/Unseen, etc.). Maybe you could simply add another option that says something like "Assign color..." which would then bring up a color palette so the user could choose what color to assign.

I think the main benefit of this would be that the user could use color-coding for options other than what are already used.

Hi Alessio,

There is Format Conditions example in DevExpress Grid Demo project.
just take a look... it's very flexible.

Hi,

You mean you want more colors for more options, and not only for Seen/Unseen etc...?

Please let me know what you prefer, I will try to do it.

Ale
