Not sure if this has been discussed and a direction set regarding the enabling the ability to format alpha_numeric fields within XMM. Issue like Exporting data and the frustration of manually performing fixes when you have hundreds of Movies and even more TV Shows. In addition the basic "Readability" of certain fields displayed in XMMs Main Grid of alpha_numeric Fields/Columns like File Size.

For example, a Movie with a file size of "964.316" and the global format for data in that field set to "XXXX.YY", the formatted alpha_numeric value would be displayed as "0964.32". Noted the Significant Zero was added and the rounded value of the data on the right hand side of the decimal point. Also with the Zero added, the field obviously needs to be set up as a Text field in order for the Zero to be displayed.

In another example, a Movie with a file size of "3448.6" and the format for that field set to "X,XXX.YYY", the displayed value would be "3,448.600".

There are other fields within XMM, which would be of benefit to the User in having a User defined format when being displayed to the User.

I hope you would agree.

Thanks,
Norm
