I moved to linux as a lot people are doing and unfortunatelly XMM does not work javascript:insertsmilie('').
It will be nice if XMM can be compiled for Linux javascript:insertsmilie('')or it could be compatibe with wine javascript:insertsmilie('').

The news that we might be able to use EMM under Linux using Mono is fantastic. Please let us know when/how.

Hi,

I use GNU / Linux. I've done the work, and tested the software on the most common distributions (Debian, Ubuntu, Gentoo, OpenSuse, Fedora, Linux Mint, Knoppix and LFS).

EMM works in conjunction with mono properly.

I do not think an expensive porting is necessary.
There are probably far more important work in the projects (especially the Music Manager *wink*), as a port to GNU / Linux or even Macintosh.

Thank you for your attention

Kind Regards,
Alex

Hello.

I have been searching all over the web to find a product that can come close to yours for linux and failed to find anything remotely resembling it. Please consider porting a version for linux. Im quite certain the linux community will embrace it and make your software more popular.

Thank you Lordkiwi, I will take a look.

If you realy want to make them happy though Alessio, You could install Mono Tools for windows http://mono-tools.com/ And scan your project for dependancies. IF XMM doesnt use any Managed Code then it just might not be that big a problem. And maybe it could run on the mono framework instead of .net

Linux Users, There is alwayhs WINE

Hello Anzac,

I am sorry but I really have noone for do such thing. XMM is now a really big project that will be not easy to port it in few weeks, especially the MagicScript...

Maybe in future...

Yeah I've moved to linux and no XMM suxs big time. To be honest Alessio if you got someone into ur team that could port it for you, I'd even buy another copy for linux and I'd bet there'd be lots of linux users out there who would too... face facts there isn't another prog out in Micro$oft world that could blow wind up XMM's arse
