Posted - 05 Oct 2012 : 17:00:10 Is it possible to change the size of the movie cover (the front cover, not the fanart) in the simple card? I'd like that it was the double size, but I don't know what file should I modify.
I'd like to move the trailer to the right side, so the front cover could be bigger and not displace the trailer to the bottom of the page. Besides, the font used in the title and original title are not unicode, so it doesn't show non latin characters (like japanese characters for instance), it would be great if you could change the font type for an unicode font.
Thanks a lot. |

Now copy this title phrase (something with %-sign or similar) into the title in XMM instead of the correct chars. I think that this would work when the site is encoded for UTF.

I don't know if I understand what you mean (English isn't my first language). I edit a movie and change the title using the japanese characters from that page -> it shows ???? in the moviecard, but it shows the japanese characters in the edit window. No matter if I copy the title from that page before or after hitting the submit button, the result is the same. If I copy the japanese characters directly from the page or form the web code of that page the result is the same.
I've checked in XMM 7 and that problem was there too. |

Maybe this way the conversion in the script of those chars could be needless!?
Well, I think it must be a bug of XMM. I can set the card to use utf-8 and the font Arial Unicode MS, but it doesn't show non-latin characters (instead of them it shows ?????). |

Posted - 28 Oct 2012 : 11:35:15 Well, mixed pages are really hard... I can try to find anything on the internet. When I found anything I will let you know. |

Posted - 28 Oct 2012 : 09:59:45 It doesn't work :-(
I've checked the other moviecards, and none of them shows the japanese characters, cyrillic characters aren't shown too.
The funny thing is I can see them in the Edit movie window and I have installed the Oriental languages fonts (I can use them in other programs and I can see webpages with cyrillic/oriental characters normally in my web browsers - Firefox, IExplorer, Chrome). |

Posted - 28 Oct 2012 : 07:24:31 When you delete the <META>-Tag the card will take the settings of your browser. So if you have installed the language compatibility for foreign languages under windows it should work. If not then I can't help, too. |

Posted - 28 Oct 2012 : 02:10:56 Ok, I solved that problem. Now, I have another one. I can't make that japanese characters show in the Simplecard card. I've tried changing: <META http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"/>
for <META http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"/>
but doesn't work; it doesn't show the japanese characters (just small squares) and besides the Spanish characters (á, é, ñ,...) show wrong.
I've tried also changing the css file, adding an unicode font (Arial Unicode MS) to the styles. Not working too.
Any ideas?

Posted - 13 Oct 2012 : 17:36:43 Ups, sorry, that's the new card Ale has made. Never have looked at. Line 62 contains the cover size: <img width='200' heigth="100%" src="_MOVIE_COVER_"><br> just play with the width. Beside that the height="100%" can be removed. As I don't have any trailers I can't say how it looks at the moment. And on the fly I don't wanna change anything. |
