1,504,010,852 bytes from a file is read by XMM properly, but in the "Media specs" I read 1504 MB.
Now if the unit was the Megabyte (MB) would be 1,434 MB. If it were Megabits (Mb) would be 12,032 Mb.
Consider the bytes of the basic units: 1,024 times a byte is equal to 1 kilobyte. 1,048,576 times a byte is equal to 1 megabyte.
Maybe we should adjust the calculation: size in bytes / 1,048,576 = size in Megabytes (MB) 1,504,010,852 / 1,048,576 = 1,434 MB

Posted - 14 Aug 2016 : 18:29:31 For me, MB(Megabyte) is different then Mb(Megabit) MB is equal to MiB. Anyway for XMM the formula is size in bytes / 1,048,576 = size in MB (Megabytes) Bye for now

Posted - 14 Aug 2016 : 11:39:26 MB <> Mb MB <> MiB Mb = MiB ??? I didn't have recognized the notation Mb before.
Those different abbreviations are really killing...
