Is there a way to customize the media portal that is uploaded to my website? I want to add some additional filters and change some existing ones.

Also, there is one movie that shows up on the website twice, yet it is only in the database once. How do I fix that?

Hello,

Filters at this time are inside the HTML Itself, you cannot create new bby yorself.

I will try to improve it.

Thank you!

I am able to modify the look of the website from the files along with adding new filter options. The issue now is getting the filter data from EMM to show up in the website. Where is the code file so that I can modify to extract these filter data along with what is already being extracted? I want to also extract marked data, seen data and location data.

Thank...

Hi pace666,
Currently this is not possible. It's a good idea and something I would also like to see implemented into the "My Website" feature of EMM. I'm going to start a suggestions topic in this thread so I'll add it to that.

It's nice the feature to export to html and sync via dropbox but....

I would like export with the filter "Wanted" set to "No" because I manage a wishlist too and I don't want my wishlist to be included in the html export... How can I fix that?

NB It applies to ToneDef too

Hi Jeff,
If you know something about writing HTML you can customise the MediaPortal to suit your needs. You can do even more with CSS & JavaScript. I've just done that to make my template; now being included with EMM. Update to release 8.0.4.3, select the ToneDEF template instead of MediaPortal and try it out.

With regards to the movie that shows up twice:
- Does it show up twice on one filter page?
- Or do you mean it's included on two different filter pages?

Wow OK, thanks. I have to look and try this. If I have done this I will write back.

For the time being, there is no export solution, that works correct in XMM 8.x, because

Grid Export: The formats xls, xlsx, and csv all have errors in the output and because of the new database design in XMM 8, the Access tabel Movies doesn't contain Actors.

Export Manager: The csv file have errors and doesn't contain Actors.

Export Collection to XML File: Isn't in the right format for MyFilms in MediaPortal and doesn't support unicode letters.

The only working method is as follows:

You have to use XMM version 7.2.3.6

Install lastest MyFilms plugin for MediaPortal (6.0.2.2971) and follow the wizard to make a new empty ANT Movie extended v4.1 Catalog to get all the new supported database fields in MyFilms.

Install newest ANT Movie Catalog from here http://www.antp.be/software/moviecatalog/download and open the new created empty MyFilms database and use the Import module here to import
the data from Extreme Movie Manager (Which uses the Movies tabel from the XMM Access database) and assign the given XMM fields to the correct ANT database fields. When the movies are imported
and you have checked the data, you can save the database and open it in MyFilms.

When you next time have to update the MyFilms database, you open this with ANT Movie Catalog and delete all the records and make the import from XMM again.
(Make a backup of the MyFilms database before you do this).
