Hi there,

Will the new version of XMM be able to handle databases above 2GB in size (or at least split the database apart so as to not encounter the 2GB limit?).

As it stands now, I have 20000+ tv shows/movies in the XMM 9.0.1.4.

While it can handle the main movie info, I can't import extra info, like actors, as it makes the database itself over 2GB and everything fails.

Thanks for any information that you can provide, and, hopefully, addressing my concern in the new version!

David

There are ways to get around the 2GB database limit. Though it involves having the database tables in different databases and linking them. If you know your way around Access it may be worth a try, assuming the original database is not restricted.

Though not the answer I was hoping for, I do appreciate it. Thank you.

Hi

xMM 11 still uses an access database which means that the 2GB limit persists.
