Posted - 10 Feb 2005 : 18:49:22 Hi Alessio,
just a remark to the new icon bar: Very nice new icons, but the whole bar is imho too big (and not so clear than the old one, because of missing text under some of the icons)- should be configurable by the user. BTW: xMM beomes more and more non-multilanguage, even in the icon bar. Can you update the translation files for one of the next versions?

Posted - 25 Feb 2005 : 18:39:50 IMHO nice looking icons for using in upcoming versions of XMM:

I am working just now on the translation file. I will try to add as more words as possible...

Posted - 24 Feb 2005 : 16:29:16 @Alessio Do you changed it for release 3.6? I can't see any difference. Anyway, I liked the old icon bar better with smaller icons of the same size. Particularly the small icons (without any explaining text) are confusing for new users. Maybe you'll find a way to make the icon bar configurable. They new icons itself look better indeed. Another point is that you also have to exchange the icons in all sub-menues (like in the edit window)in order to be consistent (maybe this sense of order is a part of my german mentality - therefore I also insist on an updated translation file).

I have reduced a bit the icon's dimensions.

Posted - 16 Feb 2005 : 19:37:09 I agree with Mawu...the icons are too big and some should belong to the small icons e.g. Help, Multi and Info ...I think you donīt use the buttons so often that we need them in such a big form
"should be configurable by the user." ...yes, this would be nice |
