Hi Alessio,
In web import, some things.
1. When importing sometimes an error message appears that the script cant connect to the internet (maybe due to a poor connection at that moment) and to check some things (firewall etc). After that you cant do anything else than to close the import window and start again. Is it possible to add a retry option there, to try to connect and continue?
2. In the list of movies to select, is it possible except the movie title, to show the year too? Its much more helpfull that to preview all the titles.
3. I made a new chain, added two scripts. In import with chains of scripts, on the top window the chain is highlighted, and on the bottom the 2 scripts i added. If i highlight one of them to choose the fields to import, and the other one is NOT highlighted, then the engine is starting importing only with the script that is highlighted, not with both of them.
4. In chain mode again. I made a chain with two scripts. First one from dvdempire, import only covers (field "pictures"), second one from imdb all the rest info. In batch mode, the script found 2 links from dvdempire, shown on the list, but when looking for imdb, found only one direct link and the links from dvdempire disappeard immediately so i didnt have the chance to choose. Next Phase button flashed, and the chain took only info from imdb. I'm sure the same thing will happen the other way around. Try with the movie "All the pretty horses"

Hey Alessio, thanks for your great work.
I tried to use "read files" option for a divx movie that has two files in a dvd. But i could't add both of the files. xMM always gets one of the files even I added both and checked in the read files dialog.
So, am i doing something wrong or is there a bug.

Great work Alessio, really great!
XMM looks better than ever!
I'm sure updates will keep up and it would be THE best manager (and not propably, as you state in the main page)
In group by database, when you browse between individual letters, there is always a movie(or actor, depends where are you looking at)highlighted. When sort by movieID is always the first movieID, but when soring by something else is a random one. Is there a reason for that? Also in actors, if you double click someone else, to open the add/edit window, and then close, both are highlighted.
As cortexwave said about his wishes, my greatest for now is in webimport script engine, to get only directlink and continue if there are more than one without asking (like in 4.8) so i can start importing , and more flexible search options.
About the popup window. Its really great this time!! One thing only. It would be nice to open each time in a visible screen area and not beyond the screens edges. If the movie (and actually the mouse pointer) is down in the grid or too left/too right, the popup window appears but not all of it is visible, it goes off the edge of the screen.

are you really working alone on EMM? ;) itīs unbelievable.
here some things:
1. i like the new popup much better ... :)
2. also the mouse-over panel scrolling is superb now. thank you :)
3. i think, that EMM reaches the perfection status now :)
4. i think, the search funtion could also have the possibility to search for GENRE (in someone has his series in the GENRE-FIELD), search for the CATALOGNO and some more fields ...
5. could we have the possibility to jump to the top of the grid (perhaps also to the bottom ). sometimes after the sorting (by ALPHABETICAL) the last movie is selected here but i sort my list descending and would like to jump directly (or with a new shortcut) to the top of the list (i hope you understand ... i drunk many beers in the pub today evening ;)
6. changing the picture oder directly in the EDIT window would be nice
7. i think that my greatest wishes are now .... the coloured rows (or coloured fonts in the rows ...) and SERIES (you know .... :))
8. hmm no more ideas today ...

Hi Konker,
You are right, this can be a problem.
At this time, the best way is to NOT INSERT script in new releases. The LiveUpdate can "remember" the script you want and not want.
Infact, LiveUpdate automatically "mark" checked scripts that you have in your Script's folder (so you want update) and leave new script's unchecked...
Maybe I can show the LiveUpdate window everytime a user install XMM first time.

A question Alessio,
an user uses Scriptīs Manager to organize and to leave only the scripts that interest him/her, but there you liberate a new version of XMM and all of the scripts are installed again. Did you already think about that?
