The new 5.1 Build 2 is online.
I have fix the bugs in Importing TV Series and many others things.

There is a bug, I have fix it just now and I have upload the same release 5.1.2.0 but with this bug solved

i have a problem with the MULTIPLE CHANGES WINDOW ... i select some movies and try to change something but EMM opens the MULTIPLE CHANGES WINDOW with informations of one movie in it .... i´m alone with this?

Hi Alessio,
some things here:
1. trying to import an image from clipboard (into the QUICK INFO EDITOR) it is not saved into the database ... after i try to import it again into the EDIT window that´s also not possible anymore for the same movie.
2. perhaps you could build in some shortcuts (STRG + F for search --> the search panel could be opened ... and so on)
3. BUG:? after a search i open the TREEVIEW PANEL again and click on the ALPHABETIC to show all of my datasets but then the CATALOGNO column in the grid (which i have at the second place from left changes its position; now i found out that everytime i click on a GENRE in the TREEVIEW PANEL the SEEN COLUMN in the grid jumps one to the right :)
my columns are sorted like this CATALOGNR | MARKED | TITLE | SEEN | MEDIA | PERSONALRATING | LENGHTH | GENRE | YEAR | STATUS | LOAN | ID
hmmm
i hope this can be solved ;)

Hi Mawu!
I am sorry, but at this time liveUpdate works only for Scripts, for XMM it only write the message and open the download page.
Of course I am working on this, and I hope it will download automatically also the EXE.
About Configuration: to save configuration it's enough to save the registry entry.
About Authentication: I am sorry, but at this time is possible "authenticate" XMM only online, but I will make soon an utility to do this also by email.
All others things are under develop

XMM LipeUpdate: How should this work? Is there really an update through web possible (or download of new version like the scripts) or is it just the message that a new update is available?
Updates in general: I hope in future we will get not only the full version to download but also an update file.
Registration: I use XMM on a pc with internet connection and on a computer without access to web. Old XMM was started from an external hard disk (usb). How can I register XMM for the pc without internet? How can I "backup" the XMM configuration? Is it enough to copy the registry entry?
Search function: multiple field search like in xMM 4.8 would be fine
Custom fields: labeling should be possible
statistic doesn't work here at all in the new version (no display of charts) - only general info (total movie length has no unit, average length is 0)
folder names in treeview for marked/unmarked, seen/unseen grouping are "true" and "false"
What is the VideoDVD field for? Can you modify the features field like the chapters field (same size, scrollable)?

Si, ancora XMM non è in grado di "upgradarsi" da solo, ma solo di scaricare gli aggiornamenti dei script.
Per ora infatti ti avre la finestra di download.

and thank you for the update. i have a problem here with the SEARCH in all fields. .... i search for a word in all fields and get an errormessage: ".... the database is opened by another application" error id C1
after i restart EMM the grid columns are away ...
what could it be?

ho aperto XMM e mi e' comparsa la finestra che mi avverte della disponibilita' della nuova build 2. poi premendo OK si apre la pagina del sito.
Lanciando LiveUpdate dal programma e facendo la ricerca degli aggiornamenti, viene visualizzata la presenza della nuova versione, ma premendo il pulsante INIZIA AGGIORNAMENTO (dopo aver spuntato l'aggiornamento) compare subito la finestra che mi dice "Aggiornamento Completato" e mi si apre la sezione download del sito. E' normale?

Thanks for build 2...
If I have enabled "search for updates" in the options emm don't react for about 15 seconds after starting it.
Without this option I can use emm immediately.
Do you use a extra thread for the search?
