Hi Guys,
I have decided to release the 5.1.8.0 because I have rewrite from scratch the procedure to import movies from CD/DVD (In next releases I will extend it also to Read from Hard Disk).
Now you can easily add movies with more than one file, XMM will sum the length, disks etc...
Please take a look at the Video Tutorial that I have prepared.
I have also add the Mini Statistic (I will add more information in future)
Please continue to report bugs!

Hi Alessio,
thanks for the Update :-). just one question: the focus on grid is lost if the little popup-windows with the movie infos is displayed or if i click somewhere else. is it possible to automatically set focus on grid when for example the mouse cursor is placed on the grid ? i liked it the way in version 4.8 was.
and another reminder - just a little thing but should be fixed sometime: in the grid if i add a custom field, the name stays "custom" in top of grid even if i changed it in menu. if it´s not difficult i would like to rename the fields for myself or you could just use the names i entered in menu ...
and one suggestion for backing up the database: i would like to choose a folder where to back up the database and perhaps you could add a counter which i can enter and that the database is saved for example every 5th time i open extreme movie manager.
ok so much for now, i am looking forward for every new release

perhaps you can include this feature again which was already implemented in version 4.8 ;-) there it worked great.
I have update the engine again, now should work as you wrote. The problem with quickedit is that you must set focus to grid to use Keyboard for search movies. This is why if you are focused to QuickEdit XMM doesn't find nothing when you press Keyboard.

This is really not possible now (and I think also in future), this because I cannot stop Engine to a script, search again, and then continue with the other script. At this time is possible to search again, but the searched "word" must be the same for all scripts.

I can reproduce this error on two different computers. I think it's not a problem of my database, because it's the same with the example database coming with XMM. When selecting for example "genre" from the pulldown menu error message "438 Public member 'value' on type 'a9' not found" is displayed. I have found a "better than nothing" workaround. The field only has problems with ".". Using ddMMyyyy is accepted dd.MM.yyyy not.

In xMM 4.8 can copy/paste info from other movies to edit window by having access to the main window.

i just wanted to remind you on an older wish which some others and i already wrote.
the whish is that it should be possible to choose a movie in treeview by typing the first letters and not only one. there is also a problem when the qickview windows is displayed, then pressing a key doesn´t do anything at all.
perhaps you can include this feature again which was already implemented in version 4.8 ;-) there it worked great.

Alessio, some suggestions:
- will it be possible to save more customized Groupings?
- the seen/not seem information is not shown in any moviecard that is supposed to include it. Could you check it or -even better- put the code we should include in our moviecards?
- as I ask you in a different post, could you update some of the spanish scripts?
- It would be nice to have the MagicScript ReferenceGuide in a more printer friendly format

Thank you for the nice update of xMM. One after the other all the missing features of 4.8 will come back. Here are my critical comments:
- mini statistic is fine. I hope the useful "Last movie edited" will also be integrated. Total time has no unit and I liked more the days-hours-minutes unit of the old simple statistic
[Done in 5.1.9.0]
- statistic: when trying to use the chart statistic there is an error message "438 Public member 'value' on type 'a9' not found"
[Strange, I cannot reproduce the error, I don't knopw what to say (I have use your old database)]
- Missing RESET button to restore default data grid (after searches)
- cd label and movie files: missing explorer button to find files/media
- horizontal sceme: data field manager only by right mouseclick
[I have do this to save Space for Grid when Horizontal
]
- data field price: no currency possible
- data field media year (I know a neverending story): format dd.MM.yyyy not possible!
[I am sorry Mawu, but this field now is for Year only, this is why you cannot store data]
- 01.01.1900 (I know a neverending story): It drives me really crazy to have this data entry. I would rather abandon the calendar feature. I'm using a german timeplaner software that also have this calendar function. But when there is no data selected the field is empty
[I really don't know how to fix this problem. The Calendar function doesn't allow me to use Blanks. I will try to find a possible workaround]
- VideoDVD field in DVD/VHS tab: What is it for?
- Main window is always blocked after opening of a further window (like edit window). Bug or Feature?

@CortexWave: Thank you for suggestions, I will improve the Mini stat a lot, but without HTML, this because I want that, when people click on "seen" label, XMM shows all seen movies.
With HTML I don't know how to do this, because I cannot read the "click" on the HTML (with VB6 I was able to do this)....I hope you understand my bad english.
About merging Movies and TV Series, probably I will add another tab (you remeber "my media"?), but I will try to do "my collection",m with possibility to show a virtual shell like asked from others users.

and thank you for the updates ....
i have some small things for you:
1. thank you for the mini-stats (could we customize it --> html?)
a. would it be possible to put some more info ito this ministats: last movie inserted / last modified / last movie seen / movies not imported / movies wanted / .... ). perhaps there could be hyperlinks which would direcly show the movies in the grid
b. the mini-stats is not refresher automatically after adding a new movie ... i think it should
[Done in 5.1.9.0]
2. have you thought about merging movie and series slots togehter .. i think there were some good ideas :)
3. will it be possible to save more customized Groupings?
4. did you think about the coloured rows ??
[Not now, at this time the Grid doesn't support coloured rows]

Hi Alessio,
In 5.1.3.0. post among others things in my post, is this one:
10. In webimport, Option to Skip (automatically) if no unique direct link is found. This way you can import first all the movie with one direct link fast.
[Done in 5.1.6.0]
You edit it and said its done, but i cant see it. The only available is the one that skips if there is no web link at all, and the one that takes the first link. Is it available somewhere else this option, or its not done yet?
[Sorry, you are right, I have make a mistake. This options is not ready, I will work on it just now.]
Also, can you take a look at my post in script forum about imdb, and tell me if its gonna be available soon the imdb script with (any of) those requests? Its really important for me, so i can start proper import of movies, and start working with xmm more.
