Hi Guys,
Someone asked me to change the Mini Statistic position, maybe by putting it near the Grid, at right.
Maybe this position is good if you use the "Horizontal Scheme" view (MovieCard under the grid) but it's not good if you use the "Vertical Scheme" (MovieCard to right of Grid).
What do you think?
I have in mind also to make a more powerful statistic, in main window, with a lot of new informations that you can click to "filter" movies (I can add a tab near the QuickEdit).
Let me know your ideas!

hi,
i think that mawu is right: something like the search panel or a tab. i donīt know how many informations you want to add. if you want many informations on the bis tatistic, a new tab right to quick-edit would be ok. but if there are not many informations it could be a new panel because it could be always displayed during working with EMM and moviecard view ...

My idea was an additional tab next to moviecard and quickedit view, anyway I haven't start to do it yet...

IMHO there only two places in the main window where you can put a big statistic:
1.an additional tab next to moviecard and quickedit view
2. a panel like search panel or treeview (left side of main window)
The most important thing is that XMM remains clearly arranged and usable even on 17'' monitors.

@CortexWave: yes I have already added some filtering option (for example if you click on "Seen" label XMM will automatically show "Seen" movies)
@Mawu: My idea of the Big Statistic in main window is to put, for example, informations like "actor with much movies", "director with much movies", "Genre with much movies", "Number of imported movies" etc... in a way that if you click on these labels you can filter.
As you wrote, I can put all these in Search panel, but I don't know if it's a good idea.
As always, my mind is open to all sugestions

Hi guys,
I think the position of mini statistic is o.k.. Alternatively I also like the old position under the cover of quickedit tab. But therefore you have to clean up the quickedit window (moviecard view is now argument as you can put the statistic directly onto the moviecard). The more powerful statistic I would not like to see directly in the main window but in the already available (but not working  ) statistic window (with the charts). Quick filter functionality I would like to see in the search panel. The main window should not to be overcrowded. |

Yes, the Mini Statistic will be always visible.
What I have in mind to do is another Statistic, with a lot of more informations, and maybe put this near the QuickEdit.
About Position of Mini Statistic, I think that the best position is under the tree, or maybe floating...

hi alessio,
i think that the meni statistic should be always visible. if you make it right to the quickedit, the people, who always use the moviecradview canīt see it ... and i think that the ministats should give us the possibility to quick filter something or show information.
1. perhaps you could keep it for people using the horizontal view (because it is the best position for it in this view i think).
2. for other it could be floating or something (so they can always move it ... what do you think ...?
