Posted - 21 May 2006 : 09:37:57 Hello,
I am old time user of this program and i just decided to try the new 5.x version. I figured out mostly everything and i thank you for superb work on it, but i cant figure how to do this.
How can i set the imported fields to be blank, or if i am doing web-import again, how can i tell the web-import to overwirte everything that was previously already imported? The problem is that when i web-import the movie and in rare cases the script imports wrong movie, so i import it again and browse the right one (without automation) but all the fields stay the same since it already has information from previous import. I have to manually delete the fields, and that takes a lot of time.
Thanks, and good luck, AgiZ |

Sorry for my late reply!
You are right, at this time there isn't a function for CLEAR the fields you import from web, but your suggestion is really cool.
I will try to do it soon with an option in configuration.
Thank you!

Posted - 21 May 2006 : 11:18:23 Ok, i have found an option in Tools-->Options-->MagicScript-->When importing, add new values only to black fields. I had to disable that to overwrite.
But this still doesent solve the problem. If there are some fields that are empty in import, they wont be overwritten, but left like they were. Is there any way to delete all fields (multiple changes manager can only delete ALL fields, but since i would like to preserve media, file info this isnt usefull)? |
