Posted - 15 Jan 2007 : 14:04:38 hi again,
again, thanks for this great app, since updating, thanks to your help, I'm constantly finding new options and buttons that are great :)
I love how when I import my movie data (imdb complete), it shows a trailer button if the trailer is available and streams it.
My question is, is there a way to have the trailer save to the HD so I do not have to stream it? that way I can move the entire list to my other pc which is not connected to the net, and browse at my own free will.
cheers, Tuck

ah well, not to worry. Hopefully something will turn up. I was wondering though, there are some apps available out there that allow you to rip streaming media to the HD. Hopefully in the future it will be possible to incorporate one of those programs (or at least take ideas from it) to allow such a thing to have them saved to HD. Time will tell :)
On another note - I've only today just noticed the built in browser view when click on the imdb links when importing - a great timesaver when trying to find those difficult movies.
cheers, Tuck

Posted - 15 Jan 2007 : 20:17:41 Hi!
Thank you very much for your words! I am happy that you like XMM so much.
XMM and MagicScript is able to download trailers (files) from internet, but at this time I haven't find a website that make this possible.
IMDB has only trailers in streaming, so I cannot download it.
Thank you,
Alessio |
