Hi Alessio,

I can't find the "Ready-Scripts" on your site that you mention in the MagicScript Help files?

I wanted to try writing a script to download trailers from http://movies.clevver.com/trailers-on-dvd but don't have any programming experience. I was hoping to adapt one of your ready-made scripts for that purpose.

Thanks.

OK, so if I substitute the following data with a different URL and gave it a different name, I don't need to edit the rest of the script?

#MADEBY#=
#DATEBUILD#=20/November/2006
#WEBSITE#=MOVIE-LIST.COM
#NOTE#=Download TRAILERS only

#SCRIPTWEBSITE#=http://www.movie-list.com/

#HTTPREFERER#=http://www.movie-list.com/

#WEBQUERY#=http://www.movie-list.com/cgi-bin/search.cgi?#MOVIE#

Or is there a little more to it than that?

Yes, I know about that Alessio, that's where I got the info about your Ready-Scripts from. To quote you:
quote:
How To Use

MagicScript is a mini programmer-language that will allow you to make oriented-code to obtain information from a HTML page.
For this purpose, you can use the IF , REPEAT-WHILE statements and many others. Of course, this language isn't as powerful as other complete languages like Basic etc.. but it is sufficient for eXtreme Movie Manager Goals.

The Script won't be simple to build if you don't know any other prog-languages. In this case you can use the Ready-Scripts available on my web page.
It's those Ready-Scripts mentioned in the last sentence that I was looking for.

Hi,

The "Guide" how to make script is inside the XMM, just open the MagicScript editor and go into help.

I will be happy to help you with this, but I am quite busy now.

Bye!

Alessio
