I thought EMM only existed in the Program Files - EMM folder. I believe I accidently deleted whatever files EMM puts in the My Docs folder. When did the program start doing that? Anyway, I still have my database of over 2000 movies and their covers but I am unable to access any Scripts or MovieCards. How do I tell EMM that everything exists in the Program Files dir?

Also, I periodically backup that folder but haven't backed up the My Docs folder in a long time. Help please!!! I'm using the latest version of Movie Mgr (5.8.4)

I reinstalled EMM. In My Docs folder I now have the eXtreme Movie Manager folder but all it contains is HELP, QuickHelp and Languages. I still can not select any scripts or movie cards.

Update 7/3/07 - I reinstalled the FULL version (not update) and then deleted the registry info. Then when I launched the program everything is now working again.

Hi Wuffy,

XMM try to search the script and all others files in a subfolder called "eXtreme Movie Manager" under your "my documents" folder.

Is this "eXtreme Movie Manager" folder there?

I deleted the key and after selecting my default DB I am getting the same problem. No movie cards or scripts available and no way to select them or their path. Should I reinstall the program again or is there anyway to find out where the program is looking for the cards are scripts? I can copy the files there if needed.

Hi,

Sorry for my delay!

Delete this key in windows registry, will reset the XMM and you can select the right position of the files again:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\eXtremeMovieManager

Let me know,

Alessio
