Hallo there...
I just bought your software.Its far the best of all i think...
I have two questions please.
About 200 movies(in divx) are in my hard drive.So i copied the names of the movies and i EMM found automatically all the info for me.Perfect!
Only that some movies was not found exactly.For example it searched for the movie "book of love" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0376006/ and instead of this it came up with movie "the silence of the lambs" http://akas.imdb.com/title/tt0102926/.
So now i want update the movie details.The first thing i would like to use is the direct link to imdb(http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0376006/).But i cant see a way to do this.Also when i try to update the movie from internet with imdb script(fastest) it comes up only with one direct link which is the "silence of the lambs".
So,how can i update this movie to the right one?
The second question has to do with the media i store the movies...
When i see a movie i write it on a dvd.So i would like to point right next to the movie in which dvd is in,so i can find it in the future.Is it possible to write a number next to the every movie,that also i will be able to sort my movies according to this number?

Yes, this because XMM do not overwrite the information you previous import (there is an option in the configuration window for that)

I did what you say.And now XMM finds a lot of options...SO the reason that the import was interupted is because it had the adress stored in the custom8...
Then i choose the right movie(for example "outlaw"(2007),and i can see XMM downloads the details for this movie...But when it finish i still see the cover,the plot etc of the old movie: "outlaw"(1976)!!
I dont understand why it doesnt update the info...

Hi,
I think I have understand: IMDB save the directlink in the Custom8 field, so if you have already import a movie, the IMDB Script will take a look at Custom8. If you have the link here, IMDB will automatically take this without let you choose.
Let me know if this fix your problem (I will also take a look to change the script)

I delete the year,but it still gives me only one direct link..And also again says "import interrupted.You can now close this window"...
I think there is the problem...That for some reason the import is interrupted...
I also tried to use some other scripts...Some of them gave a lot of results...So i picked the "outlaw(2007)" but i still see the movie "The outlaw josey wales"!!
The only solution is if i delete the movie and then i add a new one with the name outlaw...
So, the basic problem is that i cant update any of my movies!
Make a test please and download the infos for a movie,but choose not the right one.Choose a movie with the similar name...After that can you update the movie to the right one,or you have to delete it and add a new one from the beggining?

Please make a test: Delete the YEAR of the movie, and then try to import the movie again. I think that IMDB Script use the "intelligent Directlink Selection" and select the first movie with the same year.

I use the 6.0.9.0 version...
I will give an example again so you can understand the problem...
This is the picture i see when i open XMM.

As you can see i have 445 movies.But some movies have the wright names but the XMM found the wrong movie...
For example,you can see in the photo,i checked the movie outlaw.This is a 2007 movie and the imdb adress is http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0758771/
As you can see when i press the outlaw movie,the XMM tells me its the 1976 movie "The outlaw josey wales" with imdb adress http://akas.imdb.com/title/tt0075029/
As you can see its totally different movie...!
So,i want to update the infos for that movie and put there the right one...
So,i right click the outlaw movie and press "Get information from the internet" adn "update selected movies from the internet".Then i choose imdb(fastest) script and everything from the options menu at the right is unchecked.And i press start.
Then i have this

As you can see here i have only one link of the 1976 movie!And says that "import interruptes.You can now close this window".But i dont interrupt anything...
Now,if i press next phase,it is still the same...There is the same movie,only that the name changed and became "The outlaw josey wales" as you can see

I repeat that my movie is "outlaw" and not "The outlaw josey wales"

What release of XMM are you using? because I see the "Next Phase" button. You should press it to go on.
Nothing happens?

When i first scanned the movies i did check the "take the first directlink and go on".But now i uncheck and it is still the same...
I notice that it says "import interruted.You can now close this window".Ofcourse i dont interrupt nothing.Please look at this photo.

Hi,
Please sorry very much, i have forget to answer you.
About the first question, I think you have checked the option to "take the first directlink and go on", this option is in the same window where you select the script to use, at right side, under the options.
You can use the "CatalogNo" field (Catalog number), this is made exactly for this purpose.
