I know this is way off-topic, and will only be of use to someone who accesses the information at IMDb for the film I'm trying to update, so I apologize in advance. I am updating an Italian film which lists the following job description in the credits:

fotografo servizi posati

I've had a thread on the Contributor Help board at IMDb about this for a couple of days, http://www.imdb.com/board/bd0000042/nest/112859163, and have received several guesses, but no definitive answers. So I thought where better to find people familiar with both the Italian language, and film jobs than here.

There's another credit that reads:

fotografo di scena

which I'm pretty sure means "still photographer", a situation that would lead me to think fotografo servizi posati is something different, even though most of the suggestions have been in that vein.

And while a literal translation is nice (Google says "photographer services laid"), it doesn't equate to an existing English language job title, so it's of no help. Please help me enter this correctly at IMDb, so that it will appear when adding this title through XMM.

Oh, and it's apparent there aren't too many Italian contributors to IMDb, by the number of Italian movie and television titles that are either missing or have only the barest of information. So I invite anyone with a love of cinema and a little spare time to help update the world's largest movie database.
