Posted - 03 Jan 2009 : 16:23:38 Hello, I am still using AMC to index my movies but would like to switch to EMM because of the better TV series support. When adding movies I miss a feature from AMC: "Use first available number instead of highest number + 1". Sometimes i delete a movie in my database so there is a non assigned number. When adding a new movie it should get this missing number. Maybe you can add this option in the future.
I hope you understand what I mean. Sorry for my bad english.

MovieID is very important for me and the only way to find my movies in my shelves. MovieIDs should never be re-assigned, this isn't a suitable option for me. It would be very nice, if you can add the described feature in future versions.
Thanks for this great tool and for your quick reply.

If you don't care about the MovieID, you can just use the function to "Delete holes in movieID" that re-assign MovieID.
If you don't want lose the MovieID at this time there isn't a function to like AMC. I can try to add it.
