Hi Alessio,

Is there a way to re-read the titles from the folder names and rename them accordingly?

I used the scan drives function to add titles but forgot to uncheck the "Put all words to Uppercase" option. Now the titles are garbled, I want them as is in my foldernames but do not want to delete all and rescan the HDDs.

Thanks,
cc

Hi,

I am sorry, but there isn't a function for doing that thing right now...

I will add it to my work list.

No, would only be possible by renaming shortly with a temp name. Windows doesn't rename same words (lowercase/uppercase doesn't do the trick). Maybe original spelling can be used as default? But that I don't know as I don't use the scanning function.

seems there is no resolution to this?

ummm I think I did not state properly. I want the reverse of this. I want to revert to the titles as is on the disk. I scanned the disk and xmm converted the titles to uppercase but I do not want this. I want them to appear how it is written to the folder names. To be more clear here is an example:

(1) Title scanned in xmm : Ma Fille, Mon Ange (2007) (unrated)
(2) Title on disk foldername : Ma fille, mon ange (2007) (UNRATED)

I want to convert title (1) to the version as on the disk foldername (2) without deleting the titles and rescanning the HDD again.

thx.

Hi,

There is a function to "clear" the title (and put all words in uppercase).

Just select all movies, then right-click -> Multiple changes at once-> Title cleaning and renaming.
