Posted - 15 Jul 2009 : 02:58:22 Hi, I've just upgraded the manager to one of newest versions(7.0.3.7)and a problem just popped up related with all the movie covers from my collection. I created backups of the collection that I had previously and removed the manager older version. Everything went smoothly with the transition and a couple of minutes later i had acess to my old collection except the fact that none of the movies showed covers, while on the statistics pad the info is being read correctly because it shows the actual amount of movies with and without covers, numbers that i memorized when i changed versions. This problem may not be difficult to solve but it turns into it if we consider that already have more than 10.000 flicks in my collection and for sure that i'm already freaking out with the ideia of doing all over again. Also when i try to use any script from IMDB in order to update the movie all the info is retrieved normally but without any cover, for the record i didn't mess with the script original settings. Alessio, if you have time for this, your help and guidence would be highly appreciated. |

Posted - 15 Jul 2009 : 19:51:29 Hi again, It is with great pleasure when i tell you that it worked, the first part of the problem was solved with your tip, in this particular case due to the considerable size of my collection i tend to neglect the smallest and obvious things. Regarding the second one, the fact that any cover from IMDB is shown or downloaded when i try to update a movie while the rest of the information is indeed retrieved. I thank you Alessio for your wonderful work and also for being a part of my mental sanity restoration. |

Posted - 15 Jul 2009 : 08:49:26 Hi,
I think the problem is that you haven't copy the database subfolders of covers etc..
XMM try to find the covers in the _covers subfolder (where is your database), so be sure to copy all subfolders of covers, pictures etc...
Let me know,
Alessio |
