Posted - 20 Sep 2009 : 18:06:18 First off I just purchased this program after a couple of months of learning on the shareware version. I am setting up a home entertainment system and this program appears to be just what I am looking for and at a GREAT price.
What I won't to do is use categories for all the movies for example Westerns, Love Stories, Mystery, etc. so if I won't to select movies from just category that will be all that show up or at least at the top of the list or might be a way to put directories under the Movie folder. Is his possible. Have read a lot of the forum but haven't found any answers. Thanks |

Posted - 23 Sep 2009 : 05:31:59 Hi,
Genre and Category are separate fields. Genre is generally imported from internet and of course contains data like "drama, fantasy" etc...
Category is a field that can be used by people for their "special" classification, like for example movies that my "childrens" can watch or not...
I hope I am clear with my bad english.

Posted - 21 Sep 2009 : 01:11:51 OK I found the Category section there is one folder that has no text assigned to it and all the movies are there, also I have a folder that is labeled Documentaries, which has movies listings Checked some of the movies most have a Genre with and assigned category (not sure exactly what that is) should there be a folder listed that has the name of the category if it is being used by a movie title. When I check Genre all of the folders have title. |
