First off - great job on everything - It was amazing when I built an HTPC with Media Center and Media Browser that 99% of my work was done for me! Thank you for that. It's really quite beautiful.

Two questions, though...

1) Video files shortcuts not appearing in MC database folder - I like what you've done here in terms of a special MC folder with shortcut links to the media. I have a few, though (40-ish titles), that have valid files in XMM and are playable from there, but didn't get a proper shortcut in the MC folder, which messes up the metadata opportunity - backdrops and whatnot.

I've figured out the file and folder structure, can drag over my own shirtcuts, and got a copy of meta browser, so I can fix all that and it's a not a big deal...

EXCEPT

2) XMM deletes content of MC folder when title is edited. When I figured out how to fix everything and pretty it all up for MC/MB, I ran a test first. I got a title fixed how I like it - added missing shortcuts, and also added some backdrops. Then I went back into XMM and made a minor edit on the title - just a character in a custom field - and saved it. I understand that XMM will overwrite the things it "owns", but it also deleted everything I'd put there. Specifically, it was a movie that didn't get a shortcut - when I resaved it, it not only didn't fix the shortcut, but removed the ones I'd put in there. It also deleted the backdrops I'd put in there.

Can you make it so that it only rewrites pertinent information/files, and doesn't delete user-supplied items from the folder?

Thanks,
Kevin
