Hi, I've been trying to reduce the size of my Databases directory by using the "Delete All Covers except the First" function in the Advanced Tools | Special Functions area. After using it, I noticed that the HTML generated from the Template file "movie_bigcover(blue).htm" showed a bunch of image file not found place holders (Boxes with a red X) in the area at the bottom of the page under both "Cover" and "Additional Fan Art". Using the "View Source" function to view the actual HTML being generated for that page, I found the HTML code (below) that referenced Database fields that I assume once held pointers to the files that were deleted by the "Delete All Covers..." function.

SAMPLES OF THE GENERATED HTML CODE CREATED BY XMM FROM MOVIE CARD TEMPLATE

<a href="_MOVIE_COVER3_"><img src="_MOVIE_COVER3_" class="my_img" border="0"></a>
and
<a href="_MOVIE_FANART1_"><img src="_MOVIE_FANART1_" class="my_img" border="0"></a>

Is there a way I can take care of this problem within version 7.0.9.8 of XMM or is this a problem where a change to XMM is needed??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

The database can't cause that problem except there is a cover stored but no cover with that name exists (manually deleted).
I would suggest that you check that at first.
What card do you use? Some of the old cards really may have hard coded links...

Sorry for the late reply... took a LONG holiday...

Yes, I reloaded different HTML cards and then went back to the one in question and the same thing appeared. I also shut down XMM and re-opened it several times. No matter what I tried, still showing the empty image boxes... one other thing I just n oticed. No matter what Movie I look at, the same number of blank images boxes always appears. It's as if the HTML card itself has it hard coded to show those bad links... the only other thought would be that the database is somehow currupt. Any thoughts...

I would show you a picture but I've no idea what to place between the IMG tags.

Yes, I have had them deleted, too. But my posting was already done.

The ones with colors in the name aren't in the installer for some time anymore, because there are old and haven't been updated.

I don't even have these cards anymore in the MovieCards Folder...

The HTMLCard should be intelligent to show only existing pictures as far as I can remember. Did you have tried to reload the template in settings? Or a restart of XMM?
Oh, just seen: use the movie_bigcover.htm. I don't know if the ones with the colour in name areneeded anymore as the colours itself are set by css!
