go to your windows startmenu, go to XMM's link and start the properties. Now go to tab link and add behind the object "C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\...\Eigene Dateien\eXtreme Movie Manager 7\eXtreme Movie Manager.exe" SHELVES

*EDIT*
C:\Documents and Settings\...

there are no link of SHELVES in Startmenu. i need to open the SHELVES mode manually after the XMM started, but i want to start the SHELVES mode automatically in stead of Grid mode when i start XMM.

You have to make a link for XMM with the parameter SHELVES. But it should be already provided in the Startmenu.
