Posted - 14 Jan 2012 : 11:28:13 Well, I was wondering how that Incredibar was installed on my pc It changes my starting site and firefox additinally reminded me that this bar isn't compatible with my browser...
Now I have recognized that there is a new option in the installation of XMM and the other progs that by default installs this app.
Now the user can't press the return key no more blind like before.
Ale, is it possible to change this to no automatic installation or eliminate it completely? |

Posted - 27 Jan 2012 : 06:50:16 That's darn nasty! I did not notice the first time that it was installed via EMM update. Incredibar behaves as malware hijacking your home page and default search engine. Freaked out thinking that my PC was compromised had to run all imaginable antivirus and malware removal tools. Today noted that EMM was the culprit. Will have to hold on updates until it is removed. There is no fun removing incredibar. |
