Posted - 17 May 2012 : 16:19:42 I am having trouble importing my TV shows from a hard disk scan.
Mine are mostly organised like: <Folder with Show Name>/<Folder With Show Name and Season Number>/<Episodes in Format : Show name.S01E01 - Title>
I have tried fiddling with automatic Tag Reading string but can't get XMM to recognise this format.
The HDD scanner in Personal Video Databse (PVD) software seems to do a better job of scanning my TV folder and grouping episodes into shows and seasons.
Am I doing something wrong or is this an area where XMM needs a bit more work?
I Tried importing a List of shows using a text file and the Show Titles come in OK - but when I try and fill the episode entries from Internet update XMM tells me I must have an Item slected and seems to Treat the Show title not as an entry but merely a conatainer.

Posted - 17 May 2012 : 17:35:00 The shows are indeed to improve. To the import I can't say much as I don't use this feature. But for importing from internet you first have to add and save the show. After that you can import the information for the episodes. It's not really comfortable this way, but it's already in the feature requests/bug report.
