I would like to see the location of the file on the main screen. I put my movies in directories on the hard disk according to genre. I would like to be able to both see the directory in the main layout and also on exported HTML.

SUCH AS: E:\Documentary-Bio\2057-Episode III-The World.avi

I have a player that will play the movie from the hard drive to my TV. I would like to export a html file and put it on my laptop to access location and info.

You can see the file path easily enough by using the column chooser and selecting the MovieFile1 field.

To access a file remotely you would need to share the folder and use the internal network path such as:

\\Server\E\Documentary-Bio\2057-Episode III-The World.avi

I actually modified the fields and html of the Onex export to create a sort of netflix but it was a lot of work and XBMC or PLEX is a lot easier.
