When running this script the search result shows:

Search Result for: IAFD.COM(actors).txt

Choose Actor Below
_______________________

Females:

________

but nothing else, which is odd because I'm searching on actors which have been inserted into the database with the IAFD.COM.txt script.

In other words the actors in question are definately in IAFD's database and are listed under that name.

Even if I try to update from the internet data for actors that are already in my database it still tells me there is no such actor.

I've tried re-installing and uninstalling/installing.

Regards

Tony Allison

Hi!
Is there any review about <a href=http://www.fatburnfurnace.us/>Fat Burning Furnace</a>? Is it worth buying or not?
Appreciate the answers in advance!

I apologize for the above script, it did not work when I posted it back into the program so I have deleted the post.

My copy of the working script has been sent to Alessio to test. Sorry for keeping you all waiting!

Hi everyone,
I can confirm the problem that analison has described in post no 1 of this thread. I have the same problem - no names are showing up from where I could choose an actor.

Hi,

No, there isnt a limit. I have around 15000 actors in my database and run without problems.

What are the problems do you have?

'fraid it didn't work for me either, but thanks anyway.

Alessio, is there a maximum number of actors that the database supports?

I ask because I remember it stopping shortly after I passed 1000. I can't remember exactly when, but it occurs to me that 1024 is a number not without significance.

Having said that I tried it in a blank database as well and it didn't work there either, so I'm probably talking rubbish here.

Hi jjohnbubbles,

Please send to me the script by email, I will add it to server for everyone.

Thank you!

Really? That's odd. It's working perfectly for me. You're sure you replaced the IAFD actors script and not the AIFD script?
euclid6400 Posted - 04 Apr 2009 : 02:01:47
Thanks for the effort jjohnbubbles, but I can not get it to work for me. I recieve a "No Titles Found. Adjust Search String" message in response to whichever actor/actress is querried.

Has anyone thought to contact IAFD.COM directly and ask if they have a resolution? Just a thought.

I have it working but it's too buggy to post. I'll keep messing with it.
jjohnbubbles Posted - 26 Mar 2009 : 20:22:14
I tried to fix it myself last night. I spent 2 hours trying to learn the scripting language, and think I got a lot of the logic down, but I'm still not sure how the script delivers results. Anyway, I did find a problem in the script where it looks for some terms that don't seem to exist in the html, maybe IAFD changed how it does its pages.

This hasn't worked for me, either.

Am I the only one with this problem?

Plenty of people looking.
