There is an option to change the behavior of script field rewrites. In 'Options - MagicSript', you can unset "When Importing, Add New Values Only to Blank Fields", it will allow you to overwrite any data by the newly imported values. Just be careful as it may overwrite even the data which you've changed manually previously.

It works perfectly now. What happens is that the script does not overwrite the previous mpaa, but if you add new movies it works perfectly, thanks.

The script is ready to update, I've updated it, now XMM imports Language, but MPAA does not work, neither Tagline...

Thanks Crux.Wait to upload.

The last version of IMDB (complete) script doesn't import successfully MPAA, it puts #NEWLINE# in that field. I've just tried again, but doesn't work. There's nothing to do but wait Alessio to upload the script you have updated. Thanks Crux.

Just checked the latest available version of IMDB(Complete) script & it loads Genres & MPAA successfully.
Release date issue with '<p> (default release date)' into Custom2, Languages into Original Lang, Tagline, Official site, Awards in Custom7 have been fixed by me.
And I've just sent the updated script to Alessio for distribution. Hope it will fix almost all major issues for now.

Alessio help please!!! haha
Crux Posted - 17 Nov 2009 : 22:05:08
Yeah. It seems IMDB site itself has been slitly changed, so it affects IMDB script.
BTW, there are different others interfaces to access IMDB data directly without processing the internet pages itself. F.e it may be reviewed & used by Alessio to implement such feature in XMM.
