It's ok.
But I added my mod from today, not to import empty IMDB Links in C8
At the moment thats a big problem over at the themoviedb.org , because IMDB ID's are vanishing on there site...

These mod is only for prinz to look at it and if he gave his ok ale could upload it
The changes are:
- I removed the translations, because my mod try to open the link with the Directlink Language (if the language is not avaible the default is english)
- I removed the imdb moviecreatlist (if there is a imdb link the script open it withe the Directlink Language) it also checks if there is a imdb id if not it search nomal with the Directlink Language

Update for the API Version! Don't forget you must add your personal API Key!
- Don't import C8 Field as http://akas.imdb.com/title/ if there is no IMDB-ID in themoviedb

Now it works correctly :)
It replaces the webquery "/APIKEY/" and the variable "=APIKEY".
In addition you can start the prog with parameter "run": the replacements will be done immediately and the prog closes after that. |

Your program doesn't work correctly. It doesn't replace the
// API Key
#PUT#=APIKEY#77#
in the #SETVARIABLES# Block. |

As long as there exists no setting to pass the APIKey to the script I have written a prog that does the update for you.
Just copy the prog and the ini file to your XMM prog's folder and start it...

I think that this would provoke more (user) errors then this function is worth (And that function wouldn't be easy to implement)

but can you add an option, that only the english or the german direct links are available?

Yes travisbell (Admin - themoviedb) added a few new functions to the api. I'm testing at the moment what i can add to the script. |

Wasn't it TMDB with the API key?
But I have recognized that TMDB isn't really good for series... So you are right - I have thought of TheTVDB.
Edit:
But the API-version for TMDB now gets german info what isn't possible with the "normal" script
I only had to change /en/ to /de/ - and bingo  |

That is impossible.
The thetvdb api uses zipped data and random generators to select a mirror. The update api uses additional data that i can't store (no fields for that) in the database.
There are no functions/fields for all that in magic script. |
