Release 7.0.7.5 or higher is necessary!

IMDB.COM (TVSeries) For Rel.7 was barely working anymore. I fixed the non working things and added many new things.

Be warned! The complete import will now take a lot longer.

Great Prinz!

I still cannot find any bug in that function, but is good that you have found this workaround.

Thank you!

Hi Alessio,

i found a way to add the <br> tags via jquery to the missing fields in the html card itself.
Prinz Posted - 03 Sep 2010 : 03:19:28
Strange... But that is extremely bad, because the text isn't formated and is very difficult to read because of that. Looks bad too.
Alessio Viti Posted - 02 Sep 2010 : 22:39:18
Hi Prinz,

Don't know what to say, the function, in XGM, is running in these tags:

_GAME_DESCRIPTION_
_GAME_NOTES_
_GAME_SYSTEMREQ_
_GAME_TAGS_
_GAME_CUSTOMFIELD7_
_GAME_REVIEWS_

So in all "memo" field,

and for XMM:
_MOVIE_REVIEW_
_MOVIE_TAGLINE_
_MOVIE_NOTES_
_MOVIE_PLOT_
_MOVIE_COMMENT_
_MOVIE_CUSTOMFIELD9_
_MOVIE_CUSTOMFIELD10_
_MOVIE_CUSTOMFIELD11_

Prinz Posted - 02 Sep 2010 : 19:12:24
Yes Plot and most Fields work. But for example these Fields don't work: _MOVIE_FEATURES_, _MOVIE_REVIEW_, _EPISODE_NOTES_, _EPISODE_TRIVIA_, _EPISODE_QUOTES_

Probably more Fields don't work.

PS: In XGM it doesn't work in any Field.
Alessio Viti Posted - 02 Sep 2010 : 17:57:10
Hi Prinz,

What field cause you the problem exactly? I have make new tests with plot for example, and correctly XMM put <br> instead of VbCrLf.

Any progress in finding in this old issue?
Prinz Posted - 24 Aug 2010 : 07:29:51
Strange... Since you must have already the correct code somewhere in XMM. In some fields like _MOVIE_PLOT_, _MOVIE_COMMENTS_, ... it always worked and still does.
Alessio Viti Posted - 24 Aug 2010 : 05:19:17
Hi Prinz,

What I have do in the code is to search for chr(13) and chr(10) character and replace it with <br>. Its strange that doesn't work.

I will check again, thank you!

Sorry doesn't work. All fields that didn't work, still don't work. There are still normal Linebreaks in the html code instead of the <br> tag.

But with the extra episode info is the problem that some fields don't add linebreaks <br> That is a problem also on the movie card with some fields...
deafvader Posted - 15 Aug 2010 : 02:29:55
Ok no problem. I'm updating all my tv shows with this new script, cos I'm replacing data thats why the pic i got as a back cover is going. It's no
problem to add them back.

It's great script liking all the extra info, come in handy.

Maybe if Alessio adds the Option to TV Show import. http://www.binaryworks.it/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=6614 Until then it's not possible, other then removing the unwanted blocks in the script.

There is no function to remove an image (front, back or fanart). That must be a Bug in XMM. That script doesn't even import Backcovers... Maybe it because of the Replace the info with new Newly Imported. I haven't tested that..
