I'm quite new to XMM so correct me if I'm wrong. I've got a DVD/Blue-Ray/HDDVD collection of over 2000 titles that most are of Region 4(Australia). XMM don't seems to pickup any info on the DVDs when I scan the bar-codes.
Are there any scripts that will look up UPC/EAN on any of the Australian sites (Eg: ezyDVD.com.au and jbhifi.com.au) or will I have to add them manually
Thanks! |

Posted - 26 Aug 2010 : 15:56:41 I made one for devoteddvd.com.au
I has UPC/EAN search via google search on devoteddvd.com.au
Downside: google blocks IP's if you search to many times in a short time.
Edit: Plot fixed (hopefully) Edit2: Fixed Title (remove the word Blu-ray from the Title)

After hours of googaling i managed to find these sites that lists the Australian DVD/BR bar codes and allows to search on it. A script for these sites would be awesome http://www.fishpond.com.au/Movies http://www.movieflix.com.au/dvd/home.do http://www.tvshowsandmovies.com.au
I also found this website that have heaps of info on the DVDs including the UPC/EAN but doesn't allow searching by UPC/EAN. It would be great if we can get a script that pulls info from this site on title search as well. http://www.devoteddvd.com.au
Ale - if we can get these scripts up and running i think you will get few more users from R4 region cause as far i know there aren't any catalogs that pulls info for Australian DVD/BRs
Thanks in advance guys |

The Problem with those two sites is that there don't list the UPC/EAN and of course can't be searched for it.
We need a site that lists the UPC/EAN and has a search engine that supports UPC/EAN searches. |
