Hi
just wanted to come here and tell some stuff i noticed while making my first script :)
About the script, i currently have made scene breakdown and distributor import from IAFD.com just to check how easy it was to make...
Basicly ive been using like ~5 hours total for learning the scripting/and for making these two imports using reference from the IMDB.com... adapting the stuff that is already used on that script.
few things i noticed ...
first when i got the script working (i imported the scene index to "comments" field) there wasnt good place to put this imported information. the info was imported i.e. ->
quote:

Scene Breakdowns:
Scene 1 : "actor names"
Scene 2 : ...
Scene 3 : ...
...

so comments field was basicly the only place to put it. but now ive got a problem with moviecard. because the information in "comments" field doesnt support (in moviecard) line breaks , all is in one big line and it looks horrible :)
so i'd really like to see more fields to add 'customizability' and also add the linebreak for all of those.
Also some minor things like the 'automatic' linebreak added after #takecomments# , why is this? or is it just me :), cos there is the #NEWLINE# command, which is the same ,right?
this was the same problem on the IMDB.com script that i discussed on the other thread with Johnny Doe (if recall his name right )
Good thing is that this scripting is very very easy to get indepth.
and also those custom fields should be all exportable(nfo,moviecard..)
maybe add few tabs that would be fully customizable
i bet i forgot to say something...*itchy*
oh.. god.. i hope you understand from all that "stuff"

cheers
