I need some help finding my movies my son was playing with the program and used (my collection in HTML) and the your website upload.when it came up with (synchronize your website he hit it and BOOM within secants all my movies were gone 200 gig HD empty..... weir did they go how do i get them back????
it seems that xmm uploaded them to a storage server when he hit (your website is ready for upload)i don't know weir they would have went i don't have a web site nor a storage server.only thing left on my hard drive are HTML's with info on the movies /actors/directors/year it came out /cover pic"s etc.etc.iv ran search on my hole network no movies to be found.
I would use the f-word... kaihean, please use an undelete or a recovery tool to restore your movies. But keep in mind to better restore all movies onto another drive to not overwrite any data.
It's really a bug. When using My Collection in HTML and storing this output in an existing folder then all previous data is gone! Seems as if the folder will be deleted without checking if there is any data in it and then it's created again.

Ok if you could break that down a lil for me srry im not real big comp savvy...the movies were stored on a hard drive just for movies in another comp on my home network...so i use system restore on that comp to try to get them back?
System restore don't restore those files unfortunately. Please have a look at google for "undeleter" or "recover". There are existing a lot of such tools like Easus Data Recovery or Ashampoo Undeleter. Please check which of those are good for you. I'm personally using old Restorer 2000 Pro, but that's not freeware and it has the need of having enough free space on other drives. Maybe one of the other users can offer you a free and easy solution. And please don't save anything to that drive until restoration. That's really important!
