I found version 7 a little difficult to use. Version 8 seems impossible. |

Impossible? I really cannot understand why...
I mean: you have a button to add a movie, a button to add tv shows.
Then you have a single button in the edit window to import info from internet.
This is the basic commmands, then you have a lot more to add movies from your drivers etc... |

I think I've got it figured out, at least basically. I have movie drives of 2tb each, so I'm scanning those. Very hard to tell that xmm is working when it is. Even then, I had to restart xmm to see the finished work. But finally, it does the job, and even better than xmm7 did.
Perhaps some much better instructions might help for those of us who are not as smart as you..... |

Well the change from XMM7 to XMM8 is like the change from Office2003 to OfficeXP... Many things that should become easier (for beginners?) will be more complicated to experienced users. It's not a matter of smartness I think. You only have to forget about things that you are used to do for a very long time. |

It seems once you figure it out, it works pretty damn well, even better than ver7. Kudos.
I've now cataloged about 4 terabytes of movies.(and counting)
Of course, now I've decided to redo it all, using a different script...
Thanks guys... |
