What about importing Tracks in Add/Edit Album information window directly from m3u files?

Any plans to change XMuM from album driven to artist driven structure?
As already said a long time ago this way XMuM is unusable for large collections.
Best example is album name "Live". I have about 30 albums (=30 artists) that have "officially" this name. Displaying the album needs nearly 10 minutes until it breaks with an error message. Far too much songs or whatever the message said then...

In order to achieve what is possible, you have to try the impossible over and over again.

Addition to 'Import from *.m3u':

At least for me I've organized my MP3s in a kind of hierarchical folder structure like this one:
Genre
---> Artist
------> Year + Album
---------> Track No. + Title

All albums have their respective playlists.

When Music Manager reads through the above folder structure it finds virtually nothing (less than 1% of the albums), although the folder structure + file name provides every information necessary.

Thus additionally to importing from m3u I think an option 'Importing from folder structure / file name' with explicit definitions about which part of the folder tree belongs to which field of the database would be a good idea. As already told -- whatever the 'Browse folders' option does currently it is not able to accurately reproduce the structure of a music collection organized the way described above.
