I have always been using the IMDB.COM (Actors) script to import the people data (directors, actors, editors, etc). However, as of last night, I keep getting this error in the Web ID Field - "<link rel="canonical" href="http:". I have no idea why as nothing has changed?? Not sure if something changed on the IMDB side? Either way, I can not update the people section (as the main IMDB scripts don't fill them in as I add movies, so I have to do them individually & manually)

Hello,
I'm using the latest versions of XMM 8 and the scripts.
IMDB.COM (Complete) is ok - it's importing actors.
The problem is with IMDB.COM (Actors) - when i want to update actors which are created as entries in the database, but their information isn't imported yet.
The script get WebID like that "<link rel="canonical" href="http:" and import only biography, nothing else
Regards, Radoslav |

Same Here....Unfortunately, the Complete and Fastest IMDB Scripts don't fill in all of the actors, directors, editors, etc information, so I have to rescript with the IMDB Actor script.....that is where the problem lies. |

BTW, seeing you know this script...I noticed something else weird too.. Whenever the name has an unusual character (such as á), it won't find the name. However, if I change it to an "a", it will find the name. Why does it not recognize the unusual character? It always did before, but something changed. |
