Right now, with ~ 56K lines in my people table, it takes approx. 12 seconds for the "Add [artist]" window to appear. That's awful.
I wonder why a simple
SELECT People.Name, People.PeopleID
FROM People
ORDER BY People.Name;
takes sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo loooooooooooooooooooooooooooong when processed by XMM. If DevExpress is the culprit maybe it could get bypassed somehow?
