I have 400+ movies on hard drive - how to I run a script that automatically grabs IMDB data such as rating, plot and actors? I can run the IMDB fastest script but it is pausing each time for me to confirm the movie name to select = this is a nightmare - how do I run this automatically.

Next question - how do I export the results into an XLS format?

Do you already had a look at the options?
On the MagicScript tab you have several possibilities to manipulate the behaviour during import.
What's the best way each one has to decide for himself. For me I only take the direct way of grabbing when only one result exists. The rest you have to decide which movie is the right one.
For that I process the database in parts of 50 to 100 movies a time.
Another way is to skip movies if there is no unique one found. As second step you have to process your database with filtering all not yet imported movies and then import them. For these remaining movies you have to decide again.
As special hint: I would disbale the automatic grabbing in background.

Exporting - just use the menu Export to CSV. Directly into .XLS is not possible.

In order to achieve what is possible, you have to try the impossible over and over again.
