In the customise View could we have a PARENT FOLDER setting that shows the folder the movies are stored in?
For example:
I have folders for Best Movies MOVIES TO WATCH 3D Movies Kids Movies Tagalog Movies (for the wife)
It would be helpful if we could sort all movies by folder too, so all 3D movies come together, all Kids movies etc etc
I hope you understand what I am trying to achieve :)
Thanks

Good or bad idea! The next one needs the parentod the parent folder. So I would suggest to take an optional user defined part of the path to the category field.
When adding such features then I would do it the complete way But I'm not the one that has to decide... |

yeah that's really what I meant, well, something like that mate :-)
The Folder the movie is in would be pointless, so would have to be PARENT folder
\\manaixnas\movies\3D Movies\Transformers
It would need it to show ..\ which would be 3D Movies

Just simulate good old XMM7 and take a custom field for 3D movies. |
