I've just re-installed my computer back with the original factory image. Now when I re-installed EMM8 there is no cover pictures in all my title. I tried to open-database from the folder Backups (Saved.Databases.mdb[201569-49].mdb 6/9/2015)

But if tried from the folder Databases, there is an old file called saved_databases.mdb 9/13/2014 and it has cover pictures but it is missing about 2000 entry. There is not one that is more recent which should be 6/9/2015 when I backup from the start of my formating the disk.

so can someone help in recovering the recent data with cover. Thanks.

Please have a look at the manually backup section here: http://www.binaryworks.it/cgi-bin/data/wiki/doku.php?id=backup_database
All subfolders have to have the same name as the database file itself.

In order to achieve what is possible, you have to try the impossible over and over again.

I did exactly as per the section before I did a complete restore. So now that it is broken how can I restore all the Box cover and the actors/actresses pictures back without doing manually. Which is what I'm doing right now. Manually... thx ahead.

Just copy the database file whereever you want. Then copy all the subfolders into the folder containing your database file.
Keep sure that the .mdb and the suffix of the subfolders are identical.
After that you only have to open your database within XMM.
I've already done that several times and it always functioned without any problems.
